ALTA SOFTWARE PROGRAMS INTERACTIVE ROBOT TESTU FOR THE 2025 PNEUMOCOCCAL VACCINE SCIENCE CONFERENCE
As technology becomes an integral force in healthcare and education, the international scientific conference on pneumococcal vaccines—held in early June 2025—featured a standout highlight: Testu, an intelligent interactive robot. Few realize that Testu’s intuitive communication and agile interaction capabilities stem from a custom-built software system developed by Alta Software—experts in crafting tailored software solutions for enterprises.

The international scientific conference themed “The Role of Multivalent Pneumococcal Conjugate Vaccines in Adults – Legacy & Journey” was jointly organized by Pfizer and the Vietnam Association of Preventive Medicine. Held in Ho Chi Minh City on June 3 and Hanoi on June 5, 2025, the event stood as one of the year’s largest and most in-depth symposiums, gathering over 1,000 experts in preventive medicine, epidemiology, and immunology. Amidst the formal and highly specialized atmosphere, an unexpected focal point emerged: Testu, an interactive robot that captivated attendees with its friendly interactions, intuitive guidance, and real-time information delivery.
From a technological standpoint, Testu’s standout performance was powered by a custom control system developed by Alta Software. In preparation for the event, Alta’s engineering team meticulously analyzed the guest interaction flow across check-in and pre-function areas. Based on this research, they designed a dedicated communication logic tailored specifically for the robot. The robot’s touchscreen interface was seamlessly integrated with the conference’s visual identity, featuring integrated QR code scanning, real-time presentations on the PCV20 vaccine, and dynamic suggestions of program highlights.
Beyond its interface, Testu’s control system was programmed with a custom scripting language designed to process user behavior—enabling proximity detection, voice interaction, and touch-based command navigation. All functionalities were deployed in parallel across two Testu robots, one at each venue in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, delivering a seamless user experience in terms of content, interface, and responsiveness. This dual-location deployment posed a significant challenge in real-time software coordination across geographically distinct sites—especially as each venue followed a unique event schedule. The success of this deployment underscores Alta Software’s expertise in interactive systems and adaptive technology for large-scale professional events.

To ensure seamless operation, Alta Software developed a cloud-based content management system that enables remote updates to the robot’s script within minutes. When organizers needed to adjust or add information during the event, the technical team could make real-time changes directly through the cloud platform—without requiring any physical access to the onsite devices. This flexibility transformed Testu into a truly dynamic “event assistant”, capable of delivering continuously updated content—especially crucial for medical conferences where information accuracy is paramount.
From an application standpoint, Testu’s performance at the vaccine conference was a testament not only to the robot’s hardware capabilities but also to the strategic value of well-engineered software infrastructure. Without intelligent programming, a robot remains merely a display tool. But when embedded with an adaptive interactive operating system, it evolves into a fully functional communication tool—one that can support information delivery, guide attendees, and enhance user experience, particularly in specialized events like those in the healthcare sector.

With extensive experience in developing interactive systems for robots, touchscreen kiosks, and smart devices for events, Alta Software is steadily expanding its ecosystem of customized enterprise software solutions. The recent vaccine conference marks a milestone, underscoring the company’s role in delivering practical, integrated technologies tailored for large-scale events with specialized demands.
Alta Software believes that in a world where technology defines experiences, intelligent interactive software—such as the system powering Testu—will be instrumental in connecting people with data, brands, and new pathways to knowledge.
