DOBOT ATOM – VIETNAM’S FIRST HUMANOID ROBOT MAKES ITS DEBUT

As a next-generation humanoid robot, Dobot Atom is designed to operate seamlessly within human-centered environments. Its mechanical structure features 41 degrees of freedom, allowing highly flexible movement across the head, torso, arms, and hands. This configuration enables the robot to perform a diverse range of precise actions—from gripping and screwing to positional adjustment and coordinated dual-arm manipulation.
What sets Dobot Atom apart from conventional humanoid robots is its ability to walk using a Straight-Knee Walking technique. Unlike other models that bend their knees—resulting in higher energy consumption and limited stability—Dobot Atom walks with straight legs, closely resembling natural human gait. This enables smoother motion while optimizing long-term energy efficiency.
Alta Software has fully calibrated Dobot Atom for real-world deployment in industrial, service, and educational environments. The robot can learn from simulated data, reproduce actions with precision, and self-correct through iterative operation. Its bionic-inspired mechanical hands allow for accurate gripping, object handling, and the use of specialized tools such as electric screwdrivers, measuring cups, styluses, or material trays.
Dobot Atom is equipped with an advanced computer vision system, including high-resolution cameras and depth sensors operating at 60fps. This enables the robot to accurately detect and track objects, humans, and environmental changes in real time. Alta Software has also successfully integrated an AI control model that empowers the robot to interpret situations, respond appropriately, and maintain seamless interaction across a wide range of use cases.
Operated directly by Alta Software’s technical team, Dobot Atom has officially joined the company’s expanding robotics ecosystem—an integrated platform that supports interactive education, smart manufacturing, and immersive digital experiences.
