ROCKSTAR AUTOMATIC SAMPLING MACHINE – SMART SOFTWARE PLATFORM DEVELOPED BY ALTA SOFTWARE
As part of an innovative sampling campaign for Rockstar Energy Drink, Alta Software played a key role in developing the intelligent software platform that powered the entire system. This project was a collaborative effort between three specialized units: Unigons led the creative concept and on-ground operations, Alta Media handled hardware design and production, while Alta Software built the software backbone that seamlessly integrated and automated the system’s functions.

The Automatic Sampling Machine surpasses traditional free sample distribution methods, transforming the process into a high-tech, fully automated experience. At its core, Alta Software’s platform ensures seamless operation, orchestrating every step—from user authentication and hardware control to real-time data processing and performance monitoring. A standout feature of this platform is its QR code authentication system, integrated with Zalo, one of Vietnam’s most widely used messaging platforms. Customers simply scan a QR code on the sampling machine, which instantly verifies their identity and eligibility. The entire process—from scanning to product dispensing—takes less than 30 seconds. This streamlined approach guarantees accuracy and fairness, ensuring one sample per customer while minimizing wait times at high-traffic locations. By leveraging Zalo’s familiarity and convenience, users do not need to download additional apps, making the experience seamless, intuitive, and highly accessible.

Beyond smooth operation, the Alta Software platform is built to capture and process real-time data. Every scan, verification, and sample dispensed is recorded in a centralized database, allowing campaign managers to track distribution metrics, inventory levels, and location performance.
