HorecFex Vietnam 2025 is an international exhibition and forum for the HORECA industry, taking place from August 26–27, 2025 at the Ariyana International Convention Center, Danang. The event welcomes more than 3,500 attendees, nearly 80 exhibition booths, and over 50 local and international speakers, creating a dynamic space where groundbreaking technologies, the latest digital transformation trends, AI innovations, green solutions, and sustainability-focused initiatives converge. More than just a product showcase, HorecFex serves as a vital business networking platform, opening opportunities for collaboration and driving innovation across the service industry.

A highlight of HorecFex Vietnam 2025 was the appearance of Dobot Atom and Testu robots during the opening ceremony. Programmed to serve as “technology receptionists,” both robots brought guests a fresh and distinctive experience. While the Testu robot captivated audiences in a graceful áo dài, reflecting the elegance of Vietnamese cultural heritage, the Dobot Atom stood out with its signature hat, creating a unique interplay between modern technology and cultural identity. The integration of robots into the welcoming ritual not only underscored creativity but also conveyed a meaningful message of convergence between breakthrough innovation and traditional values—perfectly embodying the spirit of transformation that HorecFex seeks to highlight.

Beyond their striking appearance, both Dobot Atom and Testu were equipped with advanced features that elevated the event experience. Dobot Atom, a next-generation humanoid robot, is designed with 41 degrees of freedom, enabling fluid movements of the head, arms, and torso. Thanks to its Straight-Knee Walking technique—closely resembling human locomotion—the robot operates smoothly, stably, and with optimized energy efficiency. Its AI-powered system combined with computer vision allows Dobot Atom to recognize objects and people, and respond to real-life scenarios, making it ideally suited to greet and interact with guests during the opening ceremony.

Meanwhile, the Testu robot presented a compact and friendly design, with large round eyes and an integrated touchscreen. Programmed with facial recognition, collision-avoidance sensors, and voice interaction, Testu could engage in natural communication, offering greetings and event information to attendees. Dressed in the graceful Vietnamese áo dài, Testu embodied both cultural charm and technological innovation, reflecting HorecFex Vietnam 2025’s vision of breakthrough technology intertwined with sustainable development.

Adding to the grandeur of the opening, the event space was further enhanced by a captivating Kinetic Ball performance. Controlled by Alta Software’s proprietary programming, the Kinetic Ball infused the ceremony with both elegance and symbolic meaning, setting the stage for an event that celebrates innovation and sustainability.

At HorecFex Vietnam 2025, Alta Media partnered with Unigons to present a green technology showcase featuring a range of cutting-edge devices. Among the highlights was the Reverse Vending Machine (RVM), part of the GREEnfinity project, capable of automatically identifying, sorting, and collecting used plastic bottles and aluminum cans.

Behind the intelligent and stable operation of the device was the software platform developed by Alta Software, enabling the RVM to recognize accurately, process efficiently, and deliver a seamless interactive experience for users. This collaboration not only demonstrated the practical application of breakthrough technology but also reaffirmed Alta Software’s vital role in advancing sustainable solutions.
